Clay Studio

Grandma and Grandpa Meeks took the kids (and Andi) to the Clay Studio downtown today. We had a blast! The kids did great and I think we may have a few little Picasso's in the family.

Grandpa is helping Eli paint...ok Eli was helping grandpa paint!

Grandma is showing the girls how to use the brushes.

Leila is showing off her art work.

Grandpa, Leila and Lily enjoy the view from above the studio.

One last picture...well at least 3 out of 4 are happy!!

Photo Shoot

Well...Grandma Bibi wanted a cousins picture and Erica and I did our best but our models were uncooperative to say the least!

Lily and Leila in their traditional Nepali garb - these outfits are called Saris and they are also wearing Tikkas on there foreheads. Thanks Aunt Erica and Uncle Jason.

After a few pictures the kids needed a break. Here Lily is telling Leila to stand still so she can kick her!

Here Eli breaks to have a light snack.

Eli is in his traditional Nepali outfit - Daura Suruwal.

I love this one!
.....poor Eli. We need more boys in the family!

All in all we got a few good picts. But next year I say let's hire a professional!!!

Storm Damage

Here are some pictures of the damage that we had at our house from the storms that we had on Tuesday.

Here the top of one of the trees fell in-between our yard and June's yard. You can also see the water table in the picture..it was empty before the storm and I would say it's about 4in deep.

Here's another tree branch that fell from the Cole's yard. Shockingly our half dead apple tree stopped it from falling on to our shed. However my  close line and the fence were not as lucky.

None of us were injured. Thanks to my family in Amherst we were able to stay cool on the hottest day of the year...due to about 20 hours without power. After driving around town we really had minor damage compared to the rest of Point.
