Brother and sister bonding time

Lily is trying to help Eli go potty by reading him the Berenstain Bears go to the dentist. 

For the record it didn't help.

Nature Walk

Mike surprised us by getting done with work early and we decided to take the kids on a nature walk to Schmeeckle.  As you can see the lake still has ice on it but it was warm enough for short sleeves.

All in all it was a great day for a nature walk.

Fruit Loop Treats

After an afternoon of kite flying we all made rice crispy treats but with Fruit loops for a yummy treat.

They turned out pretty sticky. Lily's not even holding on to her treat. But they were very good.

It was such a beautiful day out that Mike and I took the kids to 

Washington School to practice our kite flying skills.

We had to stop and play first. Nice view Lily!

Success! for only about 30 seconds.

Crash!

I had the 2 kids and Mike had the 2 kites. I think his job was harder.

And that's how we roll.

Building

Mike and Lily got out the building blocks tonight and decided to build the biggest tower they could.... and here's how it went.

Mike's Birthday Party

The kids and I had an awesome birthday party for Mike this past weekend. The party started on Friday and ended on Monday...epic.

Note: the drinking started early

Ahhh..... cake at last!

And per usual Lily just ate the frosting. It turned her tongue, lips and teeth blue....she loved it!
