Enjoying another beautiful summer day...

POkay it was a fall day but man it was hot!!! Mike, the kids and I had a great time at the Pointers Pink Homecoming game. Unfortunately we had to leave before half do to squirly kids and one hot mama (and not the good kinda hot!)

I showed lily how to cool off with a home made fan...worked for about 20 seconds:)

Art in the park

What a beautiful day to be outside!! 

It's hard to tell but the kids devoured walking tacos for lunch while mike enjoyed his favorite food...egg rolls from the egg roll cart!

Then the kids built a bird house with help from dad! (I'm pretty sure it's a bird house!)

And what is art in the park without painting the cardboard village. It was messy but fun!

Swimming

Tonight was the kids first night of swimming at the Y. They both had a great time and had lots of fun. 

Just incase you can't tell it's Lily, Eli and Lily's bestie Claire. 

First day of school.

Well today was the first day of school. Both of the kids had great days. As most of you know Lily is in 1st grade now. She got up at 6:15 this morning and was ready for school by 6:20. So she was really excited to go back! Eli unfortunately came down with a cold the night before so he wasn't at 100% but he said he had fun in 4k but he doesn't really need to go back! Oh Eli this is just the beginning. 

Footnote: this morning Eli said to me "Mom I look so handsome you should sent a picture to Marshall!" So this ones for you cousin Marshall.
