Lily and mom day!!!

As the name suggests Lily and I had a mom and Lily day. We got to do all of Lilys favorite things. 

First: pedicures were a must

Second: Clay Corners

Third: lunch at Politos

Fourth: we tried to get ice cream but they were closed so we stopped at Sugar Dolls for some fancy chocolates. 

Then we stopped into see Mike at work. 

We rounded out our day with a pre school shopping trip to TJ Maxx, a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Meeks, uncle Meatball, Leila and Athena. Then back home to nap!

All in all a great day with my #1 little lady!!

The kids tried to catch a fish with goldfish crackers, buckets and a ton of sitting perfectly still,

And it worked!!!! She caught a fish. 

Eli made his own fishing pole (no fish was caught)

Then we built a sand river/ mote. 

And then I thought someone was trying to sneak snack and I was right!!! Look at that guilty look on her face, priceless!!

Good helps hard to find

The kids wanted to help with a painting project and they did great. They were quite the busy bees. First the chairs then they washed their bikes. I was so proud too because we were able to stay realitively clean....that was until I noticed Lilys hair. Yikes!

A perfect day.

Ava and Isla came to soccer tonight. They got to see both kids in action and have hotdogs and popcorn too then a sleepover.

We stopped to play in the fountain on our way to get dinner. No one was dry after that. Oh well:)

I have to say all the kids did great keeping themselves busy till the fireworks. Here they are enjoying the traditional slushy and looking for cray fish.
