Backyard fun

The neighbors got a pool! When they came over to tell us to be honest I thought it was a much bigger pool. However I think I could fit in it if I wanted to! 

They invited us over to try it out and everyone had a blast even though it was pretty cold.

The kids and a lot of the neighborhood kids enjoyed playing with the tree scraps. They tried to build forts and played a few adventure games. 

So this just happened...

We are all ok. But seriously that was our one shade tree for our deck!

We mulched the whole yard today. And even the kids helped. We'll sort of.

School in?!?

So today's the first official day of summer vacation and what do both of my kids want to play?.....School! They have been playing all day. They just keep rotating houses 😊

Last day of school!!!!

It's hard to believe that it's the last day of school today. Both kids had a great school year and are really excited to start 3rd grade and kindergarten. 

I took the kids for a special breakfast on the last day!

Dave and Busters

After the Brewers game we went to a magical land called Dave and Busters. A land where the dads can take the kids to play video games and keep them all entertained for hours while the moms relaxed!!!

It was a great day for a ball game! It was hot but a good time had by all. Well most...Eli fell asleep for a few innings!
